Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how NutriGLP ("we," "our," or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your personal health information. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

Your Data Stays On Your Device

NutriGLP stores ALL your health data locally on your iPhone. We do NOT upload your medication logs, food intake, weight, or any other health information to our servers or third-party services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Health Data You Voluntarily Enter

When you use NutriGLP, you may choose to log the following information:

Medication Tracking

  • Medication names (e.g., Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Rybelsus, Victoza, Trulicity)
  • Dosage amounts (in milligrams)
  • Injection sites (abdomen, thigh, upper arm)
  • Dose timing and frequency
  • Medication inventory (stash count)

Nutrition and Body Metrics

  • Meal logs (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber)
  • Water intake
  • Fiber intake
  • Supplement tracking
  • Body weight measurements
  • Height and BMI calculations

Wellness Information

  • Daily wellness check-ins
  • Symptom tracking

Personal Settings

  • Your name (optional display name)
  • Weight and height goals
  • Nutritional targets
  • Notification preferences
  • App appearance preferences

You Are In Control

All data entry is voluntary. You decide what information to track and can delete any entry at any time.

1.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect:

  • Your email address or phone number (no account required)
  • Your location data
  • Your contacts or photos
  • Data from Apple Health (we do not integrate with HealthKit)
  • Browsing history or app usage analytics
  • Any personally identifiable information beyond what you voluntarily enter

1.3 Payment Information

When you subscribe to NutriGLP Premium:

  • Payment Processing: Apple Inc. processes all payments through the App Store
  • Subscription Management: We use RevenueCat, Inc. as a third-party service to manage subscription status, entitlements, and purchase validation
  • We Do NOT Collect: Credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment details
  • RevenueCat Receives: An anonymous app user ID, subscription status (active, expired, cancelled, in trial), transaction receipt data (for verification), device platform, and app version
  • RevenueCat Does NOT Receive: Your health data, medication logs, food intake, weight, or any personal health information entered into the app

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Purposes

We use the information you enter solely for the following purposes:

This App Does NOT Provide Medical Advice

NutriGLP is a tracking tool only. The charts, reminders, and insights displayed are for informational purposes and do NOT constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician regarding medication dosages and health concerns.

2.2 Data Processing Location

100% Local Storage: All your health data is stored in a secure, sandboxed container on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data NEVER leaves your device.

3. Data Security

3.1 How We Protect Your Data

  • Device-Level Encryption: Your iPhone encrypts all app data using iOS built-in security features
  • Sandboxed Storage: NutriGLP's data is isolated from other apps and cannot be accessed by third parties
  • No Health Data Transmission: Your health data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties
  • Secure by Design: We do not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising networks, or cloud services. The only third-party service used is RevenueCat for subscription management, which never receives your health data

3.2 Your Responsibility

Since your data is stored only on your device:

  • Enable iPhone Passcode/Face ID/Touch ID to prevent unauthorized access if your device is lost or stolen
  • Use iCloud Backup (optional) if you want to restore your app data when switching devices (Apple handles encryption)
  • Deleting the App Erases All Data — there is no cloud backup to restore from

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Access

4.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose.

4.2 Third-Party Services

NutriGLP uses the following third-party service:

RevenueCat, Inc.

Purpose: Subscription management, purchase validation, and entitlement delivery

Data Shared: Anonymous app user ID, subscription status, transaction receipts, device platform, and app version

Data NOT Shared: Health data, medication logs, food intake, weight measurements, or any personal health information

4.3 No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising

Unlike many health apps, NutriGLP does NOT use:

  • Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar tracking tools
  • Facebook SDK or social media trackers
  • Advertising networks (no ads in this app)
  • Data brokers or marketing companies

4.4 Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., in response to a valid court order or subpoena). However, since your health data is stored only on your device, we typically would not have access to your health data to disclose.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access Your Data

You can view all your logged data at any time within the app (Diary, Shots, Insight, Home, and Settings tabs).

5.2 Delete Your Data

Individual Entries: Swipe left on any entry in the app to delete it.

All Data: To delete all your health data:

  1. Open the Settings tab
  2. Scroll to the Account section
  3. Tap Delete All Data
  4. Confirm deletion in the alert

Uninstalling the App: Deleting NutriGLP from your iPhone permanently erases all stored data (this action cannot be undone).

5.3 Notification Permissions

NutriGLP may request permission to send local notifications (reminders for medication, water intake, etc.). You can:

  • Deny permission initially
  • Disable notifications anytime in iOS Settings → NutriGLP → Notifications
  • Control specific reminder types in the app's Settings tab

Note: Notifications are generated locally by your iPhone and do not share your data with our servers.

6. California Residents' Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know: What personal information we collect (see Section 1)
  • Delete: Request deletion of your personal data (see Section 5.2)
  • Opt-Out of Sale: We do NOT sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of

How to Exercise Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have direct control. Simply delete entries within the app or uninstall NutriGLP to erase all data.

7. Children's Privacy

NutriGLP is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has used this app, please delete the app from their device.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance. We will notify you of significant changes by:

  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Displaying an in-app notice when you launch the app

Your continued use of NutriGLP after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
